MSNBC - Iraq weapons report becomes political fodder
No way the timing of the release of this is political...no way (the sarcasm drips). Would have been nice to have had this info when Clinton was in office, then there wouldn't be a record of so many Dems demanding Saddam's ouster. So now we know. Or we think we know. Regardless, the President's job is to act in America's best interest based on the intelligence he is given. Since most everyone, both Repubs and Dems have agreed at one time or another over the last 8 years that Saddam had WMDs and needed to be taken out, I don't see how this could make any difference.
