MSNBC - Reservists refuse convoy mission in Iraq
I have a problem with this. Whether or not the route was dangerous, or their equipment old or not up to par, they should have gone on the mission.
If they had been ordered to march to the destination carrying the fuel on their backs with pointy sticks to defend themselves they should have done it. It is the military, not the boy scouts. If they weren't mentally prepared to be in the he military they should have never joined.
Now they will become media darlings. Confine them, court martial them and dishonorably discharge them. There is no place in the military for these kinds of soldiers.
