Russia tied to Iraq's missing arms - The Washington Times: Nation/Politics - October 28, 2004
You mean John Kerry is once again on the wrong side of a situation involving the military? This article shows so many things:
1. The political pressure for the US to go to the UN for "permission" to enforce their sanctions, was a delaying tactic. It gave Iraq time to enlist the aid of their friends, or co conspirators in the Oil for Food scam, (that is the Russians, the French, and the UN security council, among others, for those of you keeping score at home) to move the 380 tons of explosives to Syria. Syria, the former UN security council member and murderous Baathist regime second only to Iraq (oh, well, nevermind), and butt buddy to Al Qaeda (see the news article about the Jordanian Chemical weapons arrests) now has nearly 400 tons of explosives.
One question for the liberals and other Bush haters: Do you think the Russians may have helped move any other WMDs (cause surely 400 tons of explosives could cause some mass destruction) to Syria?
As an aside, notice in the press whenever they talk about the Baathist dictatorship in Syria they always talk about how progressive and cooperative they are. Gee, we wouldn't want to make them mad.
One can hope that Russia has learned a lesson here (though probably not the one we would hope) as the explosives are distributed to various terrorist organizations and make their way into the bombs the murdering Chechen Islamic Fundamentalist terrorists use to kill women and children in their
country.
2. The next step of our great nation on the road to Peace in the mideast is to clean out the government in Syria. If that means they are next...well okay. Of course we can wait until a few terrorist bombs kill more women and children in France, Russia and probably Germany so they might decide to help then.
3. One article mentioned the UN leaked this story to the NY Times (all the news that's fit to make up) and John Kerry and John Edwards (Damien) immediately used it to attack Bush and company. The UN, the NYT and the Kerry campaign. 3 of the 4 horseman of the apocalypse.
