The reason that Oliver Stone's movie, "Alexander the Great" is a flop isn't because the movie is not good, its because Americans are homophobes and don't want to see it becasue of the men kissing each other.
Hmmm. Thats pretty insightful. So if I don't go to see "Soul Plane" it isn't because I don't want to spend my money on a movie I don't care about, its because I'm a racist. And I didn't go see "Passion of the Christ" so I must be an Atheist. I also didn't go see "Hellboy", so that would make me a Christian, but I didn't go see "Passion", so that must mean I'm agnostic.
Sometimes the media is so absurd, it borders on the hilarious.

My question is how do these people get be paid "journalists", and get away with making broad generalizations like this (not to mention the huge leap of logic)?

Out of curiosity I decided to troll about your place to see just what repulsive commentary you might be making on this blog of yours. Because, naturally, as part of the rabid anti American strike force "out there", I am honour-bound not to allow such commentary to transpire unchallenged.
To my chagrin, however, I noticed this :

Bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East is bad. Saving citizens from oppresive regimes is evil. I suppose if we made them socialist states you would not complain.
