Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish the few folks that stop by from time to time (even the liberals) a very Merry Christmas.

If you are a Christian, please take a moment to reflect on the event we are commemorating, that a child was born on a cold and lonely night, whose purpose was to die in our place so that we could live forever with God.

And if you don't belive it, take a moment to look at the story, understand the message. I have found that it is easiest to defend your position on an issue if you can argue both sides effectively. If you can do this then at least you are thinking.

A great website to go to for information is http://www.carm.org, There are good explanations there of doctrines, dogma, different beliefs, etc.

And to our service men and women stationed around the world, Merry Christmas and thank you. You and your families are in our prayers. You are the reason our country is free and secure. Each night my children and I pray for your saftey and success in the difficult jobs you do every day.

They know, as do I that:

"There is no greater love than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:12-13)

Peace through Victory.

So, you seem just like the sort who knows all about Christianity. Could you help answer some questions at Theological Questions

Replied in email to you on this but wanted to post it here as well:

My email:

I sense a bit of sarcasm in your post. What EXACTLY gave you any idea that I "know all about Christianity"? If this is an example of your ability to understand written communication, no wonder you are having problems grasping the most simple concept in the world to understand.Which causes me to use my reasoning ability to determine that either you are a troll, hiding behind a search for religious truth in order to draw Christians out into political discussions.

OR

You are sincerely interested in religious discussion. Which based on your assumption that I "know all about Christianity", is doubtful.

http://www.carm.org is a great resource. Have you even looked at the site?
