Of course they weren't. The tired rhetoric of the cowardly terrorists has ceased to cause any fear and is really a laughble threat these days. Why? Because they were always more lucky than they were strong or smart. Because you cannot defeat liberty and freedom with hallow threats and cowardly acts. You cannot defeat it with violence against women and children (or anyone for that matter).
You can't even defeat it by tearing down America on television (thanks DEMS!).
There is still alot of work to be done in Iraq, but this election is a huge step in teh right direction, spin it as you like. I mean when the New York Times writes about it as a good thing, you know the liberal whackos are out looking for another topic to tear apart.
