Looks like we have a new name for the Democratic Party. Let's call them the Naysayer Party.
Of course they are quiet about the Iraq election. People weren't kiilled, America didn't look bad.
They wern't right.
Soro's website makes no mention AT ALL of the elections in Iraq.
Time to start rethinking your premises here Naysayers!

Well, I for one am thrilled that the elections went okay. But one good day does not erase a year and a half of bad days over there. It's really too soon to start celebrating, as Iraq and the surrounding countries could be in a prime position for civil war right away now. Let's wait and see.
But, let's not forget that we didn't invade Iraq to hold elections--we invaded to find those WMD's. Who wasn't right in that scenario, eh? Sure it's being spun differently now, but don't forget all the mistakes that have been made along the way and the fact that this adminstration won't own up to any of them.
Sutter didn't build a mill to find gold either but that is what happened. It was still a great thing.
Like I have said before, there is alot of work ahead. Initially this WAS NOT about WMDs. It was about restoring some teeth to UN sanctions. I think the entire WMD argument was an attempt to dumb down the justification for the war to the American people, after all, the Dems had been clamoring for the President (Clinton before Bush) to do something about the WMDs.
Many on both sides of the aisle believed they existed. And they may have.
We were justified in what they did, byt trying to spin this as a WMD only issue the spinners in the government made an error in the marketing of the war.
It doesn't mean we weren't right to do it.
