Indiana executes convicted rapist, murderer
Indiana executes convicted rapist, murderer - Crime & Punishment - MSNBC.com: "Our hope is to bring awareness to the atrocities of executions, said the Rev. Tom Mischler of St. Mary of the Lake in Gary."
Here's a test...now pay attention...
Here is what one of the death penalty protesters said:
"“Our hope is to bring awareness to the atrocities of executions,” said the Rev. Tom Mischler of St. Mary of the Lake in Gary."
Here is what the scumbag did:
"He was convicted of holding 18-year-old Delores Wells of Terre Haute captive for 12 days before killing her on Feb. 17, 1987.
Benefiel also held Alicia Elmore of Terre Haute captive for four months in the same house and raped her more than 60 times. She survived and testified against him."
So really, there were atrocities committed. One was the monster's crimes agains these two women. The other atrocity was that it took the courts 20 years to rid the world of him.
I think the reverand and I disagree on the definition of atrocity.
