U.S. employers holding back on hiring - Stocks & Economy - MSNBC.com

The headline for this article is obviously negative. Further down in the article though we see:

"Despite the slow growth in payrolls, the Labor Department’s latest snapshot of the jobs picture in the United States showed that the civilian unemployment rate actually dipped fractionally last month — to 5.1 percent. That was down a notch from April’s 5.2 percent jobless rate and was the lowest overall since September 2001."

This is quite possibly one of the lowest unemployment rates in the world and definately as low or lower as the rate during the 90's. Thats a good thing, right? Then why does the article concentrate on the negative?

Media bias. Plain and simple.
