Peter Jennings died today. Surely a sad occasion for his family and friends. There is always a certain sadness as well whenever a public figure passes.
ABCnews has a forum. People are encouraged to post their condolences and thoughts about Peter. One guy starts out saying that Pters was a liberal with no love for America (ABC will probably take the thread down soon).
This is the most active thread on the board, this guy is being attacked by the liberals ont eh board who are too stupid to understand that their attacking this poster is really just as thoughtless as him using that forum to make comments about Jenning's ability as an anchor.
Now the trolls are coming out. Here's one of the latest posts that is getting everyone's panties in a knot:
"How fitting. ABC and Peter Jennings broadcast a 3 hour special on April 5, 2005 degrading God, Jesus and The Bible. Then he is diagnosed with cancer the same day. And is dead no less than 124 days later. Moral of the story: God is not mocked. You reap what you sow."
I love the Internet. Once you have an event that brings out the button pushers, the fun never ends.
