Uh....no kidding we oppose it. Prescription heroin? I thought religion was the opiate of the masses. Looks like Heroin is....
And Canada's taxpayers will be footing the bill...

Listen, I know you claim to be conservative and you proudly call yourself a redneck but surely by conservative libertarian principles giving junkies smack to control their behaviour is basically a good thing. Assuming you Americans don't (or can't) lock all the addicts up, there is going to be a problem with them getting their drug of choice. If desperate enough, they will steal (or many of them will). Supplying this drug WILL stop this behaviour and will be significantly cheaper than the law enforcement and prison costs of dealing with it in the texan manner. Simple economics. By the way, I am both what you would consider a 'liberal' and a recovering heroin addict. I never stole from anyone for my drugs (I am middle class and always kept down a job) and DO NOT think using heroin in any way is a good thing, it only makes problems worse. Prescribed Heroin may well have helped me recover earlier and it would have certainly meant less risk for my wife regarding AIDS and Hepatitis. And you never know, she may have slept with you, unlikely though that is. Luckily I missed both those bullets.
Now I'm trying not to create a flame war here and I know your site is mainly a joke (I really enjoyed the midget/lion stuff) believe it or not, I actually have a sense of humour. You may think it's not very good, though.
I have no answers when it comes to Crack, though. Smack addicts are calm when they get their 'fix', rockheads are bad news either way, I know as I also had a problem here and that's what finally made me mend my ways...
